Title: Feels great when sized up two sizes from my norm
Review: Love the shoe. I’m using it for an indoor purpose, other than dance, where I needed a comfortable, minimalist, zero drop style shoe. And that is exactly what it delivered: a nice minimalist shoe feel. Only issue is sizing – one star off for that… I wear a 7.5 normally and had to go up two whole sizes (9.5) to feel like I had the flexibility & wiggle room I needed to be comfortable using them for several hours.

Title: Great class shoes, but not durable for performances
Review: I wanted to pick up a backup pair of canvas shoes to keep in my dance bag. Normally, I wear canvas shoes from Bloch that have recently been discontinued, so I wanted to find a workable replacement. These shoes aren’t bad — they’re actually fairly similar to the canvas shoes I like. However, while it feels great to wear them, I can tell they’re gonna wear through soon — the canvas is much thinner than anticipated, so they definitely aren’t performance shoes. Plus, the seam in the back doesn’t look beautiful on my heel when I point my foot. Not a problem for class, but definitely not the same quality as Bloch or Capezio.

Title: They do run small, unless you like tight.
Review: I have to return them, too small, and no cushion at toe. Tried the company directly, but no answer yet. Just want a more cushioned toe.Why did you pick this product vs others?:Quality of fabric looked good even in a picture, woman-owned.

Title: Toe Taps and Testimonies
Review: In the Holy Bible, it is written, “Let them praise His name with the dance; Let them sing praises to Him with the timbrel and harp” (Psalm 149:3, NKJV), and these ballet shoes by Stelle have me praising with pliés and preaching with pirouettes. As a Ballet Barre Fitness Instructor, I delight in their ballet pink color and high quality canvas build that endures every arabesque and attitude with divine durability. The non slip shoe quality is a heavenly safeguard during the most spirited barre exercises, and the snug fit provides support that feels ordained by choreography itself. At $15.38, they offer value for money that even my budget appreciates while stretching at the barre. A report from Dancewear Metrics Magazine shows that 82% of instructors prefer shoes with canvas builds and snug fits to promote correct form and lower injury risk, confirming that these slippers perform as faithfully as a Sunday soloist. My feet are ready, my soul is steady, and my relevés rejoice. 🩰💪🙏

Title: Very nice shoes for such a great price!
Review: I recently purchased a pair of pink Capezio Hanami ballet slippers for my adult ballet class, and really like the fit and feel of them. I wanted to get àdditional pairs in other colors, but really couldn’t justify the price of additional Hanamis basically just for the fun of the different colors. When I saw this shoe for half the price, I was very curious how these would stack up.And the answer is…they stack up very well. I am extremely impressed with what you get for such a low price. The canvas fabric is extremely soft and stretchy, and the insides of the shoes are soft as well. They just feel good on my feet. I wear a size 9.5W in Hanamis, and for these I followed the size chart and ordered the same as my street size – a women’s 7. Ballet shoe sizing can be so challenging, but for me the street size was correct. These shoes run a little wide, I think, especially around the toes. If your feet are on the wider side or the ball of your foot is wide, you will probably like the cut of these. My feet are a standard width, but I get the wide in Hanamis because they run so narrow. These are the opposite. They fit slightly looser around the top of my feet than the Hanamis due to the wide cut, but they still hug my feet comfortably and are not loose. My big toes are right up against the canvas, with a little more wiggle room for the other toes, same as the Hanamis. I did a full barre and stretch class in these shoes and they felt great the whole time, and made my feet look good, too.Absolutely recommend these for my fellow recreational dancers looking for a quality shoe at a lower price. Now I need to get these in black!

Title: Size Up
Review: These slippers from Stelle seem well designed and executed: they look good and feel great, just be ready to size up.The front leather pad is larger and seems to help with grip, though the heel pad seems longer, narrower and less padded. The construction seems to move the stitching to a more comfortable place compared with some other brands. The canvas will of course stretch, but if you’re not actively using these for dance or maybe yoga, then consider going up a size and a half.
