Title: The Original “Barefoot” Shoe!
Review: I bought these wanting a “studio shoe” for zumba and something to wear around the house to keep my feet clean (I tend to always go barefoot, can’t stand stuff on my feet). I remembered wearing these as a little girl, and like the way they looked, plus they are way cheaper than the trendy barefoot shoes on the market. I’ve been wearing them maybe a month now and they are absolutely perfect. I kind of botched sewing the straps on – either that or they stretched, I don’t know, but it really doesn’t matter as the shoe fits like a glove without them needing to secure anything. The tie is basically a drawstring, so that sort of customizes the fit. They are very attractive on the foot, following the arch like a second skin. They are perfect for zumba, I don’t get hung up on my sneaker soles anymore. They keep my feet warm and comfy, and clean! at home. I’ve worn them every day since I got them and they are holding up great. The biggest issue I have is that they sent me PINK even though I ordered BLACK. The box said black, so I guess they need to take a peak inside more often. As it turned out, they were so comfortable I couldn’t bring myself to send them back so pink it is. It’s fine, they look pretty with jeans, and I will probably want another pair anyway, so hopefully my next try at black will work out better. I normally wear size 11, and after reading the reviews decided to go up half a size – this worked out great for me, they were perhaps the tiniest bit tight at first, but as the leather gives a bit they feel like a custom fit now. Highly recommend these ballet slippers!

Title: Got lucky with the fit
Review: I found their sizing instructions to be true, so I went up a half size up from my shoes, and they fit well. I wear 8.5 in pumps, sneakers and boots, and a smaller size in sandals. I bought this slipper in 9M and it works. My feet are between a narrow and medium so I went with the medium width, a touch gappy on a “A” width, but still good. I think it’s a “B”medium, so I can see a wider foot having trouble with this brand unless the wide width works. They are nice looking, but unsure of the quality until I use them. The main difference I see between these and my old slippers is the lining is a manmade fabric now. So how can they mold? Our old slippers were all leather and the straps were not pre-sewn. I think these also are thinner leather but it’s a nice slipper and the split sole makes it easy to point toes. I haven’t taken ballet in decades!

Review: Nice quality leather and soft on the inside. Fits like a glove. The pic is the size 9.5 ballet slipper on a street size 8.5 shoe foot. As you can see the fit is slightly snug in the toe area. We are going to keep them as people say the leather stretches a bit to form to the foot. If it were canvas I would order a larger size. Comfy and well made slipper. Order 1 to 1.5 size larger depending on the type of fit you prefer.

Review: Trying to find the right size of these has been horrendous. I have been a size 9, my entire life. I followed their sizing policy in ordered 8.5 wide. Too small. So I ordered 9 wide. Too small. I ordered 10 wide. Too small. I give up. Capezio is either nuts or these are bootlegs.

Title: Overstock/ bad stock
Review: I have purchased several pairs of these (my favorite) ballet slippers for my daughter and myself. The ones I have purchased here have come with issues. I am not sure if the inventory is second quality or what is going on, but they need to disclose them as such. These are being sold as new, and we expect them to be in perfect condition if we are told they are being sold as such. One shoe was .5 in longer than the other, and another pair came without a Capezio box. These are fantastic ballet shoes, and I highly recommend this style for any ballet student, as a long time ballerina myself, so would love to get it right. Also, these run very small, as do most Capezio products. Size charts say a 8.5in foot should be in a 2 street shoe or 4 in these, and my daughter wears a 5 in these– a whole size larger. We have found this to be consistent across Capezio products (we also size up in leotards). When I checked the brand’s official size chart it says to size up a half size, so just get ready for returns if you don’t already know exactly what size you need.

Review: I like these ballet shoes. I ordered size 8 as I am size 8 or 7 1/2, depending on brand. I am 7-7/12 in some European brands. Anyway, these seem to fit, still a little small, and I fear my toe will pierce the skin soon. Maybe the shoes will break in after wearing them. Other than that they are comfortable. they come with 2 crossed elastics that are already stitched. I intend to use them for some ballet classes. I like the them as I can easily do pirouettes even on carpet, which were impossible with bare feet or with socks.

Review: These slippers are so soft and cozy on my toes and nice and snug. I love the soft leather and comfort of them. I wear a size 8 and ordered a 9.5 as the reviews recommended going up in size. They are perfect! I wear them as I would any other pair of slippers. I love the look and the comfort of them. The colour is a nice light pink and the leather is really soft. I love them!
